Limón: A Life Beyond Words was written directed and
edited by Malachi Roth who also recently wrote directed
and edited a narrative feature film entitled Journey, which
is in post production. His first short film Sour Instinct won
the award for Best Experimental Film at the Philadelphia
International Film Festival. Malachi has also written several
feature length screen plays and directed several industrials,
music videos and other short form projects.
Producer Ann Vachon, Director of the Limon Institute,
performed with the Jose Limon Dance Company over a
period of twenty years, directed the Philadelphia-based
modern dance company, Dance Conduit, from 1981 to 1993
and was a professor of dance at Temple University. She was
responsible for researching archival materials, conducting
interviews, and collaborated on the script.
Producer Jeff Levy-Hinte is president of Antidote Intl.
Films, and produced The Kids Are All Right, co-written and
directed by Lisa Cholodenko, which won the 68th Golden
Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical,
and Best Performance by an Actress for Annette Bening.
Levy-Hinte made several documentaries, including Soul
Power (produced and directed by Levy-Hinte) and The
Dungeon Masters, both of which premiered at the 2009 AFI
Dallas International Film Festival, the 2009 SXSW Film
Festival and the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.
Producer Cassandra Hesseltine’s experience covers a wide
range: producing independent narrative features and shorts,
1st AD for film, director of stage, casting director for
Redwood Curtain Casting, and director of Redwood Curtain
Casting where she is an acting coach/instructor.
